DOMAIN NAME DELEGATION

Once a Domain Name is registered, it then has to be "delegated" to an Internet Service Provider (ISP) or web hosting company. This means that your Domain Name is connected to the World Wide Web, similar to connecting a new telephone service. So Delegation is the connection of your new Domain Name to the server where your web-site will be located and accessed by the World.
